Teenager robbed and assaulted at Hoover Park

 The victim was taken to Stanford ER.

As per a press release issued by Lt. Nick Perna, investigations division commander of the Redwood City Police Department, a 15-year-old boy was robbed and assaulted at Hoover Park, Redwood City.

On August 30, around 7:50 pm, the teen was approached by four or five suspects (who wore dark clothing), who first demanded his property and then physically assaulted him. He was punched and kicked in the head. The suspects took his MCM belt and his cell phone. 

The victim did not lose consciousness but appeared to have possibly suffered a broken nose and had concussion symptoms, according to the press release. He was taken to Stanford ER.
