This weekend, North Star Academy will be putting on a theater production of the classic children's story, Peter Pan.
The Redwood City public school's production of Peter Pan is directed in collaboration with the San Carlos Children's Theater and will feature 50 local students from Grades 3-8, according to North Star Academy.
All of the iconic characters from the beloved tale will be featured in North Star Academy's Peter Pan — including the villainous Captain Hook, the whimsical Tinker Bell, the titular Peter Pan and more.
“Our cast has been working hard and having a blast bringing this classic piece of literature into the 21st century!” said Director Caitlin Savage. “We can't wait to share with you the innovation, curiosity and energy our cast has used to bring this script back to life on the North Star stage.”
Performances of Peter Pan will be running from Nov. 4-6. The Friday performance will be at 7 p.m., the Saturday performances are scheduled for 1 p.m., and 7 p.m. and the Sunday performance will be happening at 1 p.m.
North Star Academy's Peter Pan will be taking place at McKinley Auditorium — which is located at 400 Duane St., Redwood City.
