Courthouse Square will be transformed on Sunday, September 17 in celebration of Fiestas Patrias. This important patriotic holiday in the Mexican culture is a celebration of Independence for Mexico, as well as for many other Latin American countries.
Attendees can enjoy live Mariachi music, glamorous Ballet Folklorico dancing and a musical performance by La Nueva Raza Obrera. Visitors can also eat authentic Mexican food and shop at various arts and crafts vendors.
A traditional flag ceremony conducted by the Consul General de Mexico will take place at 6 p.m.
This free community celebration will take place, rain or shine, on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Courthouse Square from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
