Intellectual Property litigator Daniel J. Weinberg has joined Hopkins & Carley as Of Counsel. Weinberg will practice as a member of their Intellectual Property Litigation team and will be based in the firm’s Redwood City office.
“Dan brings a wealth of perspective and skills, along with unwavering integrity, and a client-first mentality. We are delighted to welcome him to our growing team,” said Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Chair John V. Picone III.
Weinberg has represented clients in the technology, energy, entertainment, and hospitality industries. His practice primarily involves patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation, as well as computer forensic investigation work.

For the past 10 years, Weinberg practiced as a partner at Freitas & Weinberg LLP, a litigation firm based in Redwood Shores. He was named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in 2016 and since 2019 has annually been recognized by Super Lawyers for his work in intellectual property litigation.
He is an active member of IR Global, an international network of lawyers and professionals.
