November 10, 1928 - April 16, 2022
Diane "Dina" Eterovich passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on April 16, 2022. She was born on November 10, 1928 in Mirca on the island of Brac in Croatia and came to the United States in 1948 with her mother to join her father; they settled in Watsonville as a family. She was married for 59 years to her beloved husband, Matthew, who she has reunited with in Heaven, and made their home in Redwood City where they raised four children. She was a loving mother to sons Matthew Eterovich and Nick (and wife Sam) Eterovich; and daughters Frances (and husband Dave) Corsinotti and Annie Eterovich. She loved being a grandmother and was blessed to have two incredible grandchildren: David Corsinotti and Kate Eterovich. She is survived by many family members, including several nieces and nephews, here and in Croatia.
Dina will be remembered for her big heart, her selfless nature, her infectious smile and love of family. She was a giver in life with unconditional love, support and forgiveness. She had a deep love of music and dancing. Even with her challenges in life, she always had a smile on her face. Her spirit will live on in every person who was blessed to know her.
The rosary will be held on Sunday, April 24 at 7pm at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road in Redwood City. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 25 at 11am at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1685 Cordilleras Road in Redwood City. Burial will follow at 1:30pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 22555 Cristo Rey Drive in Los Altos, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.
