H. Paul Woofter, born on January 12, 1941, passed away September 10, 2022, in Redwood City from complications of esophageal cancer.  Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dianne Woofter, children Lisa Sterger (Craig), Ken Woofter (Mary), Julie Harms (Neil), grandchildren Conor Woofter and Meghan Woofter, and sisters Paulette Woofter and Kathy Woofter (Maureen).  He was predeceased by his father, Paul Woofter, stepmother Dorris Woofter, and brother, Phil.

Paul was a skilled cabinet maker for over 40 years and took pride in his work.  His work took him all over the San Francisco Bay Area at both commercial and residential job sites. He used his skill at home to transform the kitchen and bathrooms and any place else he could find to install a cabinet.

His passion was classic cars and owned several of them over the years. There was always a “car project” in process.  He enjoyed going to car shows and comparing notes with the other car owners.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 18 at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Rd., Redwood City with a prayer vigil beginning at 4:00 p.m.  A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 19, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 300 Fulton Street, Redwood City, followed by interment at Skylawn Memorial Park, Hwy. 92 and Skyline Blvd., San Mateo at 12:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
