November 20, 1938 – April 10, 2022
Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday April 10th, 2022 after a difficult battle with Parkinson's Disease. Family members were at his bedside. He was 83 years old.
Robert (Bob) was born in San Francisco and moved to San Carlos at the age of 10. Bob attended St. Anne School in San Francisco, Central Middle School in San Carlos, graduated from Carlmont High School in 1956, and went on to get his degree from San Jose State.
He married his wife Linda in 1968, enjoyed time with family, friends, and traveling the world. In 1973, he and Linda moved from Sausalito, Ca back to the City of Good Living (San Carlos) where they purchased a home and had their first child in 1974. Bob enjoyed his career which was mostly in sales and spent the last 20 years as a Regional Sales Director for Sodexo Marriott Services. He was able to enjoy a great work life, but was heavily involved in community events and activities, coaching youth sports for both his children, and spending time with his family, friends, playing tennis, traveling, and staying active.
Bob was known to light up a room, was loved by many, and kind to all. His impact on others was easily noticed and he will be greatly missed.
