Stanford’s annual Medicine & the Muse Student Symposium is a celebration of the creative talents of the folks at the Stanford School of Medicine. With a theme of “Pulling at Heartstrings,” the Stanford School of Medicine Orchestra – made up of students, faculty and staff – will perform, with a program including Leroy Anderson’s “Irish Suite,” George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” Mikhail Glinka’s overture to “Ruslan and Ludmila” and Jean Sibelius’ “Karelia Suite, Op. 11.”

There will also be artwork and project findings on display in the Bing Concert Hall lobby and in a digital gallery, as well as other performances on stage, according to the Medicine & The Muse Program’s website.
