By the end of the day, Jackie Speier will officially replace Dave Pine as District 1 supervisor. Lisa Gauthier will step in as District 4 supervisor, succeeding Warren Slocum, who has termed out.
The Board is holding its annual reorganization today, Jan. 7. District 5 Supervisor David Canepa is expected to be named the new board president, with a vice president also being chosen. Stay tuned for that story later.
