Communities are celebrating LGBTQIA+ Pride Month with everything from crafts, storytimes and talks to parades, festivals and flag-raisings. Here’s a sampling of how the Peninsula is celebrating Pride.

What’s up this weekend: New Acoustic Collective, Miranda Liu at Redwood Symphony, ‘Twelfth Night’ and more

Weekend fun includes jazz fusion band New Acoustic Collective at the 2nd Story music series; Los Altos Stage Company opening “Twelfth Night” staged with a “soulful shake-up;” violinist Miranda Liu guesting with the Redwood Symphony; Music on the Square kicking off a summer of free outdoor fun at Courthouse Square; Portola Art Gallery’s Meet the Artist day with photographer Frances Freyberg and a free local music fest in Portola Valley.
