The "band of bikers vets" is at it again!

This time the American Legion Auxiliary Post 105 is hosting a holiday fundraiser to raise money to "help veterans meet their holiday expenses during the holidays."

"Many of our reservists have been deployed due to fires," said Michael Toschak, American Legion Post 105 web editor, adding that the goal for the group is to "ease their holiday stress."

The fundraiser has brought in more than $600 — more than half of its goal– since it launched about two weeks ago.

A message on the group's fundraiser, which has 11 donations, states it is raising money to benefit military personnel to help them with their holiday expenses.

"These people have been deployed or are deployed and the funds will be distributed to local non-profits which support these heroes," the message reads.

Donations will be dispersed next week, Toschak said.

In previous years, donations have helped Post 105 give veterans much-needed funds and even gifts from Girl Scout Troop 61740, who donated toiletries to veterans and patients at the VA-Menlo Park, Toschak said.
