There are three candidates running uncontested for the District 2, 5 and 6 seats on the Redwood City Council, which sets policies and the overall direction of the city. There are seven council members in total.

Redwood City’s Measure E would institute new rent control laws, including limit rent increases on multifamily housing built before February 1, 1995, and expand just-cause eviction protections. It needs a simple majority to pass.

There are two candidates vying to represent Area A on the Sequoia Union High School District Board of Trustees, which oversees the school district and its superintendent. District A includes Redwood Shores, Belmont, San Carlos and parts of Redwood City. There are five school board members in total.
