Ahead of their special meeting on Aug. 26 (this Saturday), at 9 a.m., Redwood City’s city council has provided a number of ways for residents to attend and participate.
One to attend the meeting is remotely, via Zoom. To do so, all residents have to do is visit redwoodcity.zoom.us, select the “Join” button and enter the Meeting ID number 994 8182 5639.
Locals looking to provide a public comment virtually can do that as well. Those looking to speak can request to do so by using Zoom’s “Raise Hand” feature.
To make a dial-in comment, residents can call *67 (669) 900-6833 and enter 994 8182 5639 into the Meeting ID, followed by pressing *9 to request to speak.
Residents also have the option of attending the meeting in-person in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 1017 Middlefield Road. The meeting will call upon in-person speakers first before giving virtual attendees the floor.
Finally, Redwood City residents who prefer to submit a written comment can do so by sending an email to the city council at council@redwoodcity.org, and indicating the corresponding agenda item # in the subject line of the email.
