A 25-year-old man who disappeared in Redwood City has been safely located, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
Richard Punqueili, a resident of unincorporated Moss Beach, was last seen along the 300 block of Bradford Street in Redwood City on Saturday, Oct. 22 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the sheriff's office wrote on the agency's Facebook page. As of Wednesday morning, Punqueili had been located and had returned home "in good health," according to Lieutenant Jacob Trickett.
A missing persons report was filed with patrol units on the coast, after Punqueili was released from the Maguire Correctional Facility on Saturday, Trickett said. An announcement was made asking all law enforcement agencies countywide to be on the lookout for the missing man.
Officials could not confirm where or how Punqueili was ultimately located.
