Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Hey Redwood City!

Welcome to Earth

We've made it to Friday. But the fun doesn't stop here. This extra-long weekend is jam-packed with activities, including the yearly Redwood City Fourth of July Celebration that begins promptly at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast with the firefighters on Marshall Street. The festival starts at 9 a.m., followed by the parade at 10 a.m. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. at the Port.

Chalk Full of Fun

On Sunday & Monday, artists will be taking to the streets and the Square and covering it with chalk art. This is something you don't want to miss. Professionals, amateurs and everyone are welcome to draw on the Square and the street, as long as space is available. Preregister to reserve a spot.

Rest in Peace, Technoblade

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that a local, beloved Minecraft player died early last month. Alexander, better known as "Technoblade" to his fans, died from cancer at 23. I'm using his first name only out of respect for his family. In his final farewell video, Alex thanked his fans for supporting him throughout the years.  His fans have taken to social media to commemorate him, creating art or videos in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) Curesarcoma.org/donate/.
