While many hit the road for the long Labor Day weekend, those of us staying local have a laundry list of happenings to choose from.
Besides the return of Labor Day weekend mainstays like the Kings Mountain Art Fair, the Millbrae Art & Wine Festival and the Belmont Greek Festival, Silicon Valley Shakespeare wraps up performances of “Emma” and “Richard III” this weekend, businesses are hosting pop-up markets and The Guild Theatre will feature 16 comedians as part of the first round of the SF Comedy Competition.
This weekend also marks the soft opening of By The Teashore, a new breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea spot in downtown Half Moon Bay that can be found in a pink-and-blue Victorian house. If tea and scones, sandwiches and vintage vibes sound like an ideal way to spend an afternoon, check out Adrienne Mitchel’s feature before scheduling that out of office auto reply.
Have a dynamite weekend! 🧨
