Sequoia High School’s campus was closed on Sunday, and events were canceled after a threat was made against the school, according to school officials.

The Redwood City Police Department was on scene as of 2:05 p.m, “investigating to determine if the threat is credible,” Sequoia High School Principal Sean Priest wrote in an email, adding that no students or staff members are currently on campus and “everyone is safe.”

A few events were canceled as a result of the threat, including Sequoia’s matinee production of “Jane Austen in 89 Minutes,” Priest said.

Further details were not immediately available.
