A major water main break has shut down part of a thoroughfare in Redwood City on Tuesday, according to police.
Redwood City police issued an alert shortly before 12:45 p.m. saying southbound Veterans Boulevard was partially closed at Middlefield Road due to the main break.
People are advised to avoid the area, and there is no estimate for when the roadway will fully reopen.
