Good morning, Redwood City.
Happy Friday!
I'd like to take a moment to introduce the Pulse's two editorial interns for this summer. Donovan and Shannon will be out in the community covering a wide range of stories for the Pulse this summer. If you see them around town, say hello!
Donovan Growney (he/him), is a Redwood City native and currently studies journalism at Arizona State University.
Recently, Donovan has covered Palomar Park's new plaque, the arrest of a cooking instructor at Maple Street Correctional Facility who smuggled drugs into the jail and Redwood City's pride celebration.

Shannon Faulise (they/them), is an emerging reporter who just finished their first year at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, where they are studying photojournalism and feature writing. Shannon was raised in Minnesota and has a background in politics and media relations.

Shannon started working with us just last week, but they've already hit the ground running. Read their story about the wrongful death lawsuit filed in death of San Carlos couple killed in a deadly street racing collision last year.
Both Shannon and Donovan have several more stories on the way. As always, if there is anything you'd like to see the Pulse cover, send us an email here.
Don't forget to read today's headlines below.
