Dignity Health Sequoia Hospital marked its 75th anniversary on Oct. 15, commemorating more than seven decades of service to the Redwood City community.

Mayor Elmer Martinez-Saballos, who was born at Sequoia Hospital, presented a city proclamation congratulating the hospital and praising its life-saving impact.

Hospital leaders and local officials reflected on Sequoia’s history of medical innovation and compassionate patient care. Attendees also toured the hospital’s Historical Museum, which showcased photos and artifacts from its past.
