Redwood City’s Summer Series returns this year with free concerts, outdoor movies and community events across downtown and city parks.
The season kicks off Friday, May 29, with Music on the Square and continues with weekly music, movies, kids’ events, art shows and Shakespeare in the Park.
Most events are free and take place at Courthouse Square, 2200 Broadway, unless otherwise noted.
Highlights include Music on the Square on Fridays, Music in the Park on Wednesdays at Stafford Park, Movies on the Square on Thursdays and Pub in the Park on select Saturdays at Red Morton Park. The season also includes Kids Rock!, Sounds of the Shores, a Redwood Symphony performance, Art on the Square, Shakespeare in the Park, Oktoberfest and the Zoppé Family Circus.
This year’s Movies on the Square schedule includes a FIFA World Cup live viewing party on June 25.
