What is a ‘BARC’ 3-X?
The BARC was developed during the Korean War to move troops, vehicles and supplies from cargo ships to shore. The 3-X prototype, delivered to the Army in 1953, later served for a decade as a training craft and is now one of the oldest surviving BARCs on display.
