The Redwood City Girls Softball League is gearing up for another home run season.
The organization is now accepting applications for the 2022 spring softball season for team members between the ages of 4 and 14. Those who register before Friday, Dec. 17 will get a $25 discount. Families with more than one child registering will also receive a $25 discount, according to the league's website.
Division and cost breakdown:
- Rookies (6U): Ages 4-6 as of January 1, 2022- $180
- Juniors (8U): Ages 7 or 8 as of January 1, 2022 – $180
- Minors (10U): Ages 9 or 10 as of January 1, 2022 – $235
- Majors (12U): Ages 11 or 12 as of January 1, 2022 – $235
- Seniors (14U): Ages 13 or 14 as of January 1, 2022 – $235
Financial Scholarships
Limited financial scholarships for Spring 2022 are available. To be considered for a financial scholarship, please send an email to registration@rcgsl.org.
The league is also looking for anyone interested in coaching opportunities, team parents, field preparation and board members.
Upcoming Reminder Dates
- December 17, 2021 – Early Bird Discount Ends
- January 7,2022- Last day to register
- January 29, 2022- Player Evaluation Day for 10U/12U/14U only. Time and Place TBD.
- Week of February 7, 2022- Practice Begins for all Divisions (no practice on Saturdays)
- February 26, 2022- Picture Day and Hit-a-Thon
- March 5, 2022- Opening Day Ceremony
