Redwood City has announced the schedule for its 18th annual summer events series, which will start in June and offer a variety of free concerts and activities. The city’s lineup includes various musical genres and entertainment options catering to different tastes and age groups.
The series kicks off with Music in the Park on Wednesdays, featuring performances from artists like Top Shelf. Thursdays, we will see Movies on the Square, which features a combination of family-friendly films and features from independent filmmakers. The week rounds out with Music on the Square on Fridays, providing a platform for both local and national musicians.
Additional events throughout the summer include Pub in the Park, which combines craft beers with bluegrass music, and Kids Rock!, a concert series specifically designed for children. The Redwood Symphony will offer a classical music concert, and the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival will present “The Tempest” as part of Shakespeare in the Park.
These events are centered around Courthouse Square, known for providing a community gathering space for residents.
