The latest in the Guild Theatre’s Local Sound Series, which celebrates emerging Bay Area artists and bands, features RIVVRS (formerly of Napa) and Half Moon Bay’s The False Bottom Band.
RIVVRS is an Americana and indie folk singer-songwriter celebrating the autumn 2024 release of his fifth album, “Sunlight of the Spirit.” That record, according to his website, is a return to his roots and includes songs about addiction, recovery and spiritual discovery.
The False Bottom Band is a seven-member roots music string band that incorporates bluegrass and old-timey influences along with rock, blues and country to create a unique blend.
