Redwood City announced it is accepting applications for its 2025 Community Building Academy, a seven-week program that gives residents and local workers an inside look at city government.
The program runs Wednesdays from Oct. 8 to Nov. 19, from 6 to 9 p.m., with in-person sessions at city facilities on topics such as the City Council, public safety, public works, and parks. Enrollment is limited to 40 participants from the city’s 17 neighborhood association areas, unincorporated communities, and two high school students.
The cost is $50, covering meals and materials, with scholarships available. Applications are due Sept. 1 at www.redwoodcity.org/CBA.
