The Redwood City Kiwanis Farmers Market is set to reopen this Saturday, marking its 100th anniversary with a special celebration.

The market will operate from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the 500 Block of Arguello Street.

This season, the market commemorates a century of service and welcomes new vendors, enhancing its commitment to local agriculture and sustainable food practices.

Among the newcomers is ALD & Y Organic Farm, which has expanded from a modest half-acre to 7 acres of mixed vegetables since its inception in 2010. They join Tongsui Production, a Bay Area business specializing in coconut jelly and boba drinks that spotlight real, seasonal, and organic ingredients. Simms Organics will also begin selling their certified organic produce starting June 1.

The market serves as a platform for farmers, community members, and even local musicians. It offers a venue for agricultural and non-agricultural vendors alongside performances by acoustic artists.
