There With Care, a nonprofit in Redwood City that supports families and children facing critical illness, received a $5,000 grant from The Rosendin Foundation.
There With Care of Bay Area founded its second location in 2011, with offices in Redwood City and San Francisco.
There With Care works with hospitals and social workers to identify and ease the stress families face when their child faces a medical crisis or critical illness by providing a family with patient and family essentials, housing stability, transportation assistance, and food security.
“The Rosendin Foundation continues to stand by its commitment to support community initiatives and organizations that resonate with our mission to positively impact communities, build and empower people, and inspire innovation,” President of The Rosendin Foundation Jolsna Thomas said in a press release.
The Rosendin Foundation is a nonprofit organization formed in 2020 to provide financial assistance to community nonprofits in California and around the country from Rosendin Holdings. The organization has already given over $1.87 million to nonprofit organizations.
Applications for grants and emergency grants are available on the foundation’s website.
