An East Palo Alto man has been arrested after police said he was having “unlawful sexual intercourse” with a 14-year-old girl, a news release by the Redwood City Police Department.
Police said that the detectives with the agency received allegations regarding the man raping the minor, which after an investigation proved to be accurate, according to the release. The minor is a Redwood City resident.
According to police, the suspect was arrested in his East Palo Alto home on multiple felonies, including unlawful sexual intercourse with a victim under 14 years of age. Police also served a search warrant on his home. He was booked into the San Mateo County jail.
