The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Officers responded to a call of a car on fire in the 1100 block of Second Avenue shortly after 1:56 a.m.
The witness who called 911 provided officers with a video that appeared to show a woman pouring an unknown flammable liquid on a car, which then ignited into flames.
Officers concluded that the woman they arrested was out on bail over a previous felony case and then arrested her for felony arson, resisting arrest, and committing a felony crime while on felony bail.
She was booked into Maguire Correctional Facility.
