A man was arrested in Redwood City earlier this month on suspicion of being a felon in possession of narcotics and a gun, according to police.
On July 11, Redwood City officers arrested Elijah Harrington, 25, in the 2300 block of Massachusetts Avenue on suspicion of methamphetamine and firearm possession as a felon. Harrington was stopped for outstanding warrants and was searched, and police allege they found 2 ounces of meth.
Officers then searched his residence on Oakridge Drive and allegedly found two un-serialized pistols, AR-15-style rifle components, AR-15-style compatible magazines, several rounds of .223 caliber ammunition, and a 3D printer, along with materials associated with manufacturing illegal firearms.
After his arrest, Harrington was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility. According to police, he was already on probation and had several outstanding warrants, one of which was for a felony.
His case is set for a preliminary hearing on July 25.
