MAGICAL BRIDGE FOUNDATION

Dear Friends of Magical Bridge Playground in Redwood City,
Magical Bridge Foundation is always proud to share information about potential projects that will make Redwood City EXTRA MAGICAL. If you've not yet heard about the efforts of ARTS RWC, listen up! Though in the planning stages, this new place will be a Center for Creativity and will serve everyone on the Peninsula. The vision for the Redwood City Center for Creativity is a living art space for all in the community to connect. It will be a destination for residents and students of all ages to engage in participatory experiences and interact with diverse art forms. It will be a place for people up and down the Peninsula to explore their creative selves.
At this time, their visionary team needs your help to move it closer to reality! Here’s how:
- Take their survey at this link to give your input about community needs and desires. (Surveys for kids and teens also at the link – make it a family affair!)
- Forward this email to your friends, family, and colleagues who live, work, learn and/or play on the Peninsula asking them to take this survey also.
Survey results will be used to inform a formal feasibility study that will go deeper and consider possible locations, as well as enlist the support of the city and county government for the vision. Survey collection ends November 12th.
Their team believes the time is now for Redwood City and the Peninsula to have a permanent, local arts center that serves the community’s needs in the arts, from education and practice to exhibition and performance.

We thank artist Elizabeth Gomez and the Redwood City Parks & Arts Foundation for leading this extraordinary community project. Over 750 volunteers, 100k+ tiles, thousands of volunteer hours, and a vision to dream BIG — made this possible. We know this is a priceless masterpiece that will continue to bring joy, happiness, and beauty to those who visit and play at Magical Bridge Redwood City.
