A 20-year-old man was arrested last week for allegedly committing sexual assault on an unconscious victim last August, Redwood City police said Tuesday.
The arrest took place on Dec. 29, 2021, after police detectives obtained a $110,000 arrest and search warrant on a home on the 400 block of Ruby Street in Redwood City. He was arrested without incident, police said.
The man is alleged to have sexually assaulted “an unconscious victim” in August 2021, police said. No other details about the victim or event are known.
The man was booked into the San Mateo County Jail on the warrant for sexual assault.
