City-backed state legislation
The Governance Sub-Committee is meeting today to go over which state bills they may provide feedback on and potentially advocate for. The meeting starts today at 3 p.m. The same committee will be discussing issues the city is having with recruiting residents to boards and commissions. The city is looking to fill 30 positions, but the city has only received half of that. It has decided to extend the deadline for recruitment.
