Good morning, Redwood City!

Gun control

Near 90-degree weather didn’t stop the youth-led March for Our Lives protest in downtown Redwood City on Saturday. More than 100 students, teachers and families showed up to call for an end to gun violence and demand policies for stricter gun laws.

The crowd was a sea of hand-written signs, each with its own version of one message: It's time for our government to act. No more lives should be lost to gun violence. Read the full story, and check out some beautiful photos from the event, here.

City business

Lots on the agenda for tonight’s city council meeting. From the new fiscal year budget to sewer taxes to project finalists for the People’s Budget, we’ll be following along.

Stay tuned, and stay cool!
