Update: Police identified the man as 29-year-old Carlos Chocanosolis. He has been charged with one count of criminal threats and one count of false imprisonment, both of which are misdemeanors. Misdemeanor criminal threats carry a max penalty of up to one a year in a county jail or state prison a fine of up to $1,000; false imprisonment carries a max penalty of 364 days in county jail, a $1,000 fine or both.
A man was arrested in the Central neighborhood of Redwood City Wednesday morning for making criminal threats against another member of his family, according to the Redwood City Police.
Several police officers responded to the 1100 Block of Adams St. just after 8 a.m. on a report of a family disturbance. An investigation determined that the 29-year-old man threatened another family member, according to the police. It's unclear what kind of threats were made. No weapons were involved, and no one was injured during the incident, police said.
The man was arrested at the residence and transported to the Maguire Correctional Facility, according to Redwood City Police.
