Good morning, Redwood City!
School Bond
This November, voters will see a new bond measure on the ballot as Sequoia Union High School District Trustees passed a $591 million bond last week at a tax rate of $14. Since 1996, district voters have approved five bond measures, totaling $633 million.
Facing Eviction
Faith leaders gathered at a vigil outside the Woodside Road United Methodist Church yesterday evening to show support for a single mother facing eviction. The woman says her landlords have harassed her and told her to leave as they plan to build ADUs in the backyard. The property managers, who said they'd attend a meeting with the tenant after the vigil, never showed up. More here.
More news to come. Have a great day!
