Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Good afternoon, Redwood City!

Can you believe it’s December? Nothing like some heavy rains to usher us into the last month of the year…

Grand opening

A more than century-old organization is opening the doors to its new home right in the heart of downtown Redwood City.

The Immigration Institute of the Bay Area, which provides immigration legal services throughout the region, has operated for 48 years at the Fair Oaks Community Center. Starting today, their clients—many of whom are Redwood City residents—will have to go no further than their own backyard for services.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place today at 600 Allerton Street, Suite 101, Redwood City, CA 94063 at 3:30 p.m. I’m planning to attend, so say hello if you’re there!

Get in the spirit

Art Bias is hosting their Holiday Open Studios this Sunday, Dec. 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., right across the border in San Carlos. Stop by for music, refreshments and pop up makers (including some from Redwood City) selling their wares.

Your reporter,

Leah
