Search begins
Less than a week after announcing the departure of Superintendent Dr. Darnise Williams, the Sequoia Union High School District’s Board has tapped Crystal Leach, associate superintendent, to temporarily fill her seat.
Leach previously stepped in after the last superintendent, Mary Threshly, left amid pressure to resign just two years ago. Though the board hasn't taken any official action just yet, Leach has been names acting superintendent and will take over Williams' duties immediately.
And so the search for a new superintendent begins…again. We'll keep you posted!
