Head of State
President Joe Biden was in the region yesterday, surveying storm and wind damage caused by wild weather that wreaked havoc on businesses, highways and homes. He was Gov. Gavin Newsom and U.S. Rep. Anna Eshoo, D-Palo Alto.
Police Chief Search
Closer to home, Redwood City is asking residents to provide input on what they'd like to see in a new police chief as Chief Mulholland gets ready to retire in May. The city has hired recruitment firm Teri Black and Company to lead the search for the next chief, but the city manager said she wants to hear from the public. Fill out this survey here.
