Impossible Foods reportedly plans to lay off 20% of staff

The alternative meat giant Impossible Foods, which is based in Redwood City, is planning to cut 20% of its workforce, according to a report by Bloomberg published on Monday. 

More than 100 people could be without jobs after this round of layoffs, according to the report. The company employs roughly 700 people. 

Impossible Foods is located at 400 Saginaw Dr.

Impossible Foods did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
