Redwood City is inviting residents to join its efforts in conducting its 2023 RWC One Day unsheltered homeless count and survey.
The survey allows residents to better understand the needs of the city’s unhoused residents.
The count will occur on Wednesday, March 15, from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Volunteers will gather and deploy from Fair Oaks Community Center. There are 25 census tracks, with five known encampments where the city’s Homeless Outreach Providers will conduct surveys in the morning and evening.
Training options will be provided on March 9, 10 and 13. Anyone interested in participating can register here.
