Hi all! Thank you for coming by our table at the Redwood City Kiwanis Farmer's Market this weekend! We loved hearing from you about what's happening in Redwood City, and what you want to see from the Pulse.
Many people who came by our table want to see more stories about homelessness and housing in Redwood City and coverage of local schools.
Have you taken our survey? Tell us about your experience living in Redwood City here. We want to know what issues need to be addressed.
Here's what's happening around town:
A new exhibit "Reality Makes Them Dream" at the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford.
"Gateway at Milbrae Station" is opening this week. It will include affordable housing and offices with walkable retail, dining, services, a hotel, and plenty of outdoor space – in a location with an onsite BART station and adjacent to SFO. We'll keep you posted on how that impacts people in Redwood City.
The City Council will host a study session to review the Redwood LIFE Development Proposal next Monday.
A talk for teens on two year vs. four year colleges happening at Red Morton Community Center this Thursday at 6 p.m. Pizza and a gift card raffle included!
Help us keep tabs on what's happening in the community. If you'd like to see something covered, or just want to spread the word about your event, send me an email. I can't wait to hear from you!
Avery
