Good morning Redwood City! Here's some great upcoming events happening around town:

On April 30, join San Mateo County Libraries and Redwood City Together for the first annual Books and Bikes event at the North Fair Oaks Library! Kids can build confidence in a safe and fun environment with a bike rodeo and the Safe Moves City experience. Bring your own bike and helmet and join the fun! Plus, there will be live music, family-friendly workshops, free bike repairs, and awesome prizes! Don't miss out on this day of fun and learning.

Do you have a story to tell? The Redwood City Veterans Senior Center writers group is the place for you. It meets every Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Kids and families can join Redwood City's first "Bike Bus" on Wednesday, May 3 to teach kids about bike safety and provide a fun, safe way to get to school. Hosted by Bike Redwood City, the group will leave Stafford Park at 7:50 a.m. and stop by Orion, Roosevelt and Kennedy Schools.

Join the San Mateo Garden Center for their annual plant sale and craft fair. This free community event offers a raffle, kids gardening table and the opportunity to connect with local gardening clubs. It's happening this Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at San Mateo Garden Center.
