Now, onto some local events happening in the community:

Mother's Day is just around the corner and RWC's Almost Mother's Day Festival is the perfect way to celebrate. Head over to Courthouse Square this weekend for live music, fun activities and maker's market with over 100 local vendors. The festival kicks off this Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Let the festivities begin!

Don't forget to mark your calendar for the following Saturday, May 20. Bay Area Bike To Wherever Days is a free, open-to-the-public group bike ride to meet artists, tour various murals and get some exercise and fresh air with friends. More info here

Remember that Annual wildfire training is scheduled in Huddart County Park in Woodside from Mon., May 8 through Sat., May 13, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Park users and neighbors may see fire trucks and hear equipment.  Helicopters from several agencies will fly in the area and practice landing and take-off in the park. The exercises will not involve smoke or fire activity.
