The Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) are hosting a skills day, where participants are needed to act as injured victims for emergency response simulations.
The event is scheduled to take place from 11:30 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Armory in Red Morton Park. The opportunity is perfect for aspiring actors, said Ernie Schmidt, general manager at Fox Theatre.
This not only provides a chance for community members to flex their acting skills but also aids in the crucial training of the CERT.
