Police in Belmont are looking for a man who went missing Monday morning.

Chris Litsche, a 44-year-old white male, was last seen at the 1200 block of Geraldine Way in Belmont around 8 a.m. According to Belmont police, Litsche left home, leaving behind his vehicle and phone. 

Police said that Litsche is considered to be at risk, as he suffers from depression and has gone missing before. 

He is described as unshaven, with a small ponytail and was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark green pants and tan work boots. 

Police said a man found a cellphone on Monday afternoon on a trail to rear of Village Drive, which may be related to this search. Anyone who found this phone or knows who did is urged to contact the Belmont Police Department at (650) 595-7409.
