The Redwood City Elks Lodge #1991 is inviting the public to take part in a public safety night on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
The evening will honor San Mateo County first responders.
The night will include nine local public service agencies, including the police departments from Redwood City, Menlo Park, Atherton, and East Palo Alto. Additional agencies include San Mateo County Sheriff's Department, including Woodside, San Carlos and unincorporated SM-County and the CHP Redwood City Station, and the Fire Departments from Redwood City and San Carlos, Menlo Park and Woodside.
Each agency will be nominating an individual for an award for outstanding heroism. The Redwood City Elks Lodge will provide the awards, as well as an Italian dinner to celebrate. Redwood City Elks Lodge invites community members to consider donating to the cause or joining in on the celebration at the Redwood City Elks Lodge on July 19, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.
