Redwood City is gearing up for another lively summer season packed with free, family-friendly entertainment, kicking off its 19th annual slate of events on May 30. From high-energy concerts and family films under the stars to art festivals and Shakespeare in the park, downtown Redwood City and its surrounding parks will host dozens of outdoor events designed to bring the community together.
Redwood City Events is organizing the summer lineup, which includes weekly and monthly event series stretching from late May through November. The season begins with Music on the Square on Friday, May 30, followed by Pub in the Park on Saturday, May 31, at Red Morton Park.
