NAMI San Mateo County has appointed Bill Graham and Rona Yang to its board of directors, the organization announced.

The Redwood City-based nonprofit said the two new board members join as NAMI San Mateo County expands its mental health education, support and advocacy work.
The organization said it served more than 11,000 San Mateo County residents in 2025 through free classes and support programs aimed at helping people seek care, recover and avoid rehospitalization.

Graham is a former president of Sequoia Hospital, where he served for 10 years. NAMI San Mateo County said he now works as a health care consultant and as senior vice president of business development at Bayside Realty Development.
Yang previously led engineering and product teams at Ask.com and founded a wellness-focused residential design studio, according to the organization. She is pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Palo Alto University and has also held school and nonprofit fundraising roles.
Laura Parmer-Lohan, CEO of NAMI San Mateo County, said in a statement that Graham and Yang bring “extraordinary depth” and a “genuine passion for mental health equity.”
